Are you from a non-physics background with physics, mathematics or chemistry friends often droning and complaining and bragging about how hellishly difficult to understand and comprehend quantum physics is? 

it does sound very much like a brand new language that's terribly difficult to pick up, because that's a pretty decent description actually. even the most gifted student struggles during their first few months of beginning their studies on quantum physics. 

as Richard Feynman, well known Caltech professor and theoretical physicist once said, 

“I think I can safely say that nobody understands quantum mechanics.”

however, this Soviet-era Russian book from Mir Publishers Moscow, two rare copies of which are contributions to my college's library by a long-gone Physics alumnus from thirty years ago (which only four people have borrowed in the last few decades before i did) , is a perfect book for people of all educational backgrounds to learn the ABC's of this difficult language fully and in crystal clear perfection, before beginning the much bumpier ride towards the much more complex and intricate detailed concepts of Quantum Physics. 

you just have to understand basic English and have a decent imagination 🤝
